Police launch appeal to find burglars

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to attempted burglary in Braintree.
The incident happened in Harkilees Way at around 3am on Wednesday January 23. The would-be thieves are believed to have tried to gain access to the house by trying to pull away the beading holding in a panel on the back door. It is thought they were disturbed by movement inside the house and left before they could gain access.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard any susipicious activity in the area at the time in question. They can call Essex Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
