Members held one of their winter monthly meetings on Wednesday February 28 in the Talberd Room when the speaker was Barry Gayton from Norfolk where he has a Breckland garden between Thetford and Brandon. He opens his garden regularly as well as giving lectures on various associated topics. His visit to Dunmow was to talk on the subject of Hellebores, with slides and plants to illustrate. The next meeting will be on March 28 at the same venue when Aubrey Barker will speak on 'Lovely and Smelly'. The Society's spring show will be held on Saturday April 21, It is open to all.
