Owners of greyhounds and lurchers in the Dunmow area are invited to join a dog walking club. Janet Peacock started the Greyhound Walkers in Great Notley in April this year. "When we first started there were just five dogs," she said. "Now, six months later, there are 48 dogs and their owners. We all meet on the second Sunday of every month to enjoy walks throughout Essex." Due to its popularity, the group is looking to expand to take the walking club to other parts of Essex. If you own a greyhound or a lurcher or would like to join owners for a social gathering call Janet on 07718 730879 or check out www.greyhoundwalks.co.uk
