Get the lowdown on crime in Uttlesford at a meeting with Essex police tsar

16:33 10 April 2014

Essex's Police and Crime Commissioner Nick Alston.

Uttlesford residents will have an opportunity to quiz the Essex Police & Crime Commissioner later this month.

Following on from last year’s visits by the PCC’s office, Nick Alston is asking local people to consider two questions:

• Do you care about the way your community is policed?

• Do you want to know the facts about crime in your area?

All matters about policing in the district will be open for discussion when Mr Alston returns to Uttlesford on Thursday, April 24.

Residents from across the district are invited to attend the meeting, which will take place at Thaxted Primary School, in Bardfield Road, Thaxted, from 7-9pm. Anyone may join or leave the meeting at any time.
