Members met on the evening of Tuesday of March 13 at the Foakes Memorial Hall for their monthly meeting. All members had an enjoyable evening, being served with tea and biscuits and were then entertained by the vocal talent of Johnny Styles, who sang a wide range of songs and performed numerous requests.

The evening concluded with the traditional raffle offering many prizes. Members meet on a monthly basis with next month's meeting being on Tuesday April 10 where there will be an Easter Bonnet competition and a Decorated Easter Egg competition and another evening of entertainment. The Friendship Club offers a coach trip every month from April through to November, with this year having the added celebration of its 40th anniversary party. Members range from the minimum enrolment age of 60 through to more senior members in their 90s, all of whom enjoy a wide range of activities and entertainment.

Should you be interested in joining the friendship dub please contact Mrs Janet Penfold on 01371 872316.
