Firefighters tackle large barn blaze in Thaxted

Fire crews from Thaxted and Great Dunmow tackles a large barn fire at Holder’s Green, Thaxted.

The brigade was called at 0.41am on Sunday, November 19 to the incident.

When fire crews arrived they reported the building, which measured 15m by 8m, was completely alight.

Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire by 3am.

An investigation will take place to establish the cause of the fire.
