Essex Police appeal to speak to a man in connection with assault and theft in Saffron Walden

Essex Police want to speak to Richard Monk about an assault and theft in Royston Road, Saffron Walden, on Tuesday, March 6.

A man was assaulted and his white Vauxhall Vivaro van, registration plate EN58 MKF, was stolen.

A 54-year-old man from St Albans was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released under investigation.

Essex Police want to trace Monk, 40, in connection with their enquiries. He also uses the name Richard Stuart and has links to Saffron Walden, Cambridge and Colchester.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts, or that of the van, should call PC Luke Wilkinson at Saffron Walden police station on 101 quoting reference number 42/31088/18.
