A double decker bus has caught fire on the M11 and is causing long delays this morning (Thursday, June 12).

The incident is on the northbound carriageway between Bishop’s Stortford and Saffron Walden. The motorway is blocked just south of J9 (A11) and queues are building back towards J8.

Firefighters are at the scene, despite a national strike over pensions.
