Emergency crews were called to the A120 near Great Dunmow at the weekend after a car became engulfed in flames.

Stansted crews from the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene on July 30, wearing breathing apparatus while trying to tackle the blaze.

The incident took place on the westbound carriageway of the road between the junctions for Dunmow and Braintree.

Another vehicle managed to get a video of the scene as it passed by, with Ashley Johnson posting the footage of the blazing car on Twitter.

No passengers were injured during the incident.
