Emergency services were called to Dunmow Road at about 3.15pm following reports that a van and a car had collided.

Police and fire crews from Leaden Roding and Great Dunmow arrived to find the car had crashed into a fence and a van had flipped onto his roof and into a garden.

A spokesman for Essex Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire crews assisted at the scene and the casualty was left in the care of the ambulance service. The crews made the scene safe before leaving at 4.15pm.”

Details of the injuries sustained are still emerging, although it is not though that anybody was seriously hurt.
