Visitors can enjoy games and music in a fun-filled family open day at the Gardens of Easton Lodge.
The open day takes place on Sunday, August 20 from 11am to 5pm.
Children can find fairy doors in the Lime Wood and climb up into the treehouse, while the whole family can enjoy a trail through the glade along with croquet and other garden games.
At 1pm Great Dunmow Rock Choir will perform a set of pop and rock songs, before they travel up to Scotland to sing at the Edinburgh Festival.
This year the choir is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and their repertoire now extends from 60s classics through to current favourites, including songs by Fleetwood Mac, Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton and Ed Sheeran.
Following the recent rain the gardens are in fine form, with butterflies and bumblebees enjoying the nectar from the lavender and border flowers.
The sunken Italian Garden, designed by famous Edwardian garden designer Harold Peto, is bright with helenium and nepeta around its lily pond.

Visitors can explore the historic walled kitchen garden with its dahlia border and cut flower bed.
The kitchen garden is crammed with vegetables, with fresh vegetables available to buy from the produce store.
There will also be a range of other stalls, including plants, crafts and local honey and beeswax products.
The Gardens of Easton Lodge Preservation Trust's archivists have set up a display about the gardeners who have made the gardens what they are today.
These include stories from Victorian and Edwardian times, as well as more recently.
Visitors can enjoy hot and cold refreshments provided by the trust's volunteers.
Tickets are available at a discount when booked in advance online, through the gardens' website or Facebook page, or through Trybooking.com.
Adult entry is £5.50 for tickets booked in advance, with free entry for children under 16.
The entrance fee at the gate on the day is £6.50 for adults and free for children. Dogs on leads are welcome.
The gardens of Warwick House - the front garden of what was once Easton Lodge - are also open for visitors.
