ON BEHALF of myself and all the fortunate people who were at this Bugsy Malone show, can I offer the most sincerest and positive praise to the organisers Jacky and

Mikki Rom of the Scene II Theatre School.

I would also like to praise a cast of outstanding young talent, also not forgetting the back stage people for all their efforts.

The show itself would have been a 'hit' in any other theatre in the country with such an outstanding production and acting by the large cast of more than 60 children, mostly who were aged under 12 years.

The audience was very receptive and both adults and their families gave the cast continuing applause during the entire show.

I was extremely proud to be involved in this event, which is part of the Mayor's Charity Community Fund and cannot praise both the show's organisers, cast and helpers enough.

My sincere thanks are given to the help received by the ever willing members of the women's institute and the first aid attendants who gave such willing and helpful support as always.

I now look forward to another production by the Scene II Theatre School.

Cllr Frank Silver

Mayor of Great Dunmow
