OUR total this year for the Poppy Appeal from the house-to-house, street and static point collections in the Dunmow district was £7,978.54, another record.

I would like to thank everyone who contributed for their generosity.

Also, thanks must be extended to Tesco who allowed us to have collectors at the Dunmow supermarket for four days, resulting in a collection of £1,960.

Lastly, I must not forget our wonderful collectors who all worked so hard for the Poppy Appeal, making it such a great success.
